Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their care plans, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. This role involves working closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote a comfortable and supportive living environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor residents’ conditions, assess vital signs, and report any changes to the RN or physician.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure residents' comfort and safety.

• Document all nursing care provided in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

• Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness strategies.

• Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.

• Respond promptly to emergencies and follow proper protocols.

• Participate in staff training and development programs.

Qualifications:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Virginia.

• CPR/BLS certification (preferred).

• Experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or senior living environment (preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
