Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Locations: Edison, NJ & Newark, NJ
Salary Range: $42 - $55 per hour (depending on experience, shift differentials, and facility)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Edison, NJ, and Newark, NJ. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to best nursing practices in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing assessments
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal treatment
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and health management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies

Qualifications:

- Active RN license in New Jersey (or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med-Surg unit (hospital or skilled nursing facility experience preferred)
- BLS/ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients
